Dr. DeSimone’s medical training began at St. Joseph’s University, where he completed his undergraduate studies before earning his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He went on to complete his internship at Graduate Hospital through the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by an ophthalmology residency within the Graduate Hospital/PCOM Consortium, where he served as Chief Resident. This rigorous training in ophthalmology built the foundation for his current clinical expertise and has been further recognized by several Teacher of the Year awards for his work educating and mentoring medical students and residents. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. DeSimone contributes to the advancement of eye care as a clinical investigator in multiple eye-related medical studies, bringing patients the benefits of evolving knowledge in the field.
