Dr. Rho earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from MIT before completing his medical degree at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, where he graduated in the top 25th percentile of his class. He completed his internship at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and his ophthalmology residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. His training continued with specialized fellowships at premier institutions including rotations at Joslin Diabetes Center, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Beth Israel Hospital, and Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary during his Harvard fellowship.
